Juan Chavez founded Golden Forest Tree Service in 2019 in Redwood Valley, California. When Juan began working for a tree service in 2013, he realized his passion was working with and taking care of trees. Six years later, he decided to start his own company with a goal of bringing quality, affordable and community minded tree service to Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties.

Get a free quoteWe had a giant sequoia and giant Douglas fir tree each close to 90 ft tall and with a 3-4 ft diameter that were getting too heavy and becoming a liability. Golden Forest was extremely quick to respond, and they were our lowest bid BY FAR. They were a good 20k cheaper than our most expensive bid. Juan and his team worked safely, effectively, and quickly. They left our yard cleaner than it was before. Great company. Very pleased with their service. Will be contracting them again for any future tree needs.
Juan Chavez has done two projects for us. First he took down two very large oaks that were leaning over our roof. He was quick and efficient and left us a big pile of mulch for our garden. The second time we asked Juan to help clear out a few dead trees, limb others and take our some dense brush. Again, he more than met our expectations.
